COURSE DESCRIPTION:   The threat of terrorism or violent crime to Dignitaries, Government Officials, Corporate Executives and other high profile individuals is very real. This fact presents a need for highly trained, select personnel to effectively counter this threat. Our VIP Protection training course includes range work, classroom and a Final Training Exercise. This VIP protection training module encompasses a wide variety of essential skills for personnel operating on a protective detail.

EQUIPMENT: Ammunition: 400 Rounds – Handgun Duty Gear: Handgun – Quality concealed weapon holster, magazine pouch, and at least 3 magazines.  (No Shoulder or ankle holsters) Eye Protection, Ear Protection, and appropriate range attire, weather gear, snacks / water, groin and neck protection for force on force exercises. Concealment garment (overshirt, vest, bdu top, etc for range work)   Suit pants, suit jacket / sports coat, dress shoes, black socks, tie for FTX.  Note taking materials or laptop for planning phases.

DURATION: 3 DAYS / 30 HOURS

PREREQUISITE: Certified Law Enforcement Officers, Security Officers, Government contractors, Military Personnel – Good Physical Condition = capable of performing protective duties.

INSTRUCTORS: The instructor cadre is a globally experienced and diverse group. This provides a unique and balanced perspective in creating our training programs. The instructors are drawn from all branches of the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Military and Law Enforcement Special Operations, Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement, along with members from the Intelligence and Investigative communities. This blend of instructors provides an outstanding depth and strength to our training.
