COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course was developed for officers tasked with conducting high-risk tactical operations. (Narcotics Enforcement, SWAT, Fugitive Apprehension, Vice, Gang Enforcement, CRT, etc) This course will provide the student with the technical and tactical background to effectively conduct a High Risk Tactical Operation. This program covers both planning and operational phases with an emphasis on teamwork. The instruction is in depth and the students are presented a wide variety of live fire drills and reality-based scenarios.

PREREQUISITE:
Good Physical Condition = capable of performing law enforcement duties.

EQUIPMENT: All normal tactical equipment including, BDU or other similar tactical uniform, PT clothing, body armor, load-bearing vest or web-gear, eye and ear protection, gas mask, handgun and shoulder fired weapon with sling (M16, AR-15, MP5) 400 rounds of handgun ammo, and 400 rounds of long gun ammo.  Weapon Cleaning gear. Please bring any Simunitions equipment that you have, OR UTM’s will be provided.  Snacks / Note taking materials.

INSTRUCTORS: The instructor cadre is a globally experienced and diverse group. This provides a unique and balanced perspective in creating our training programs. The instructors are drawn from all branches of the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Military and Law Enforcement Special Operations, Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement, along with members from the Intelligence and Investigative communities.
